DHM GROUP will supply two sets of hydraulic equipment for a plant processing lithium-ion batteries and used automotive catalysts in Poland.
Elemental Strategic Metals, a part of Elemental Holding Capital Group, is carrying out the project titled “Research, development and first industrial deployment of innovative technologies of Li-lon batteries and spent autocatalysts recycling with recovery of strategic metals.”
The project aims to increase the volume of lithium-ion battery and catalyst processing, as well as recover strategic metals crucial for the European battery industry and electric vehicles, such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, platinum, palladium, and rhodium.
The project, under the management of Elemental Holding Capital Group, is co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) of Poland, with additional support from the European Commission. Elemental Holding is one of the 18 European companies registered by the European Commission under the European Industrial Policy. Its main objective is to establish an efficient value chain to promote sustainable mobility within the European Union.
The equipment supplied by DHM GROUP will include two sets of floor driven tapping machines, two slag stoppers, hydraulic power pack and control system.
