In November 2014 DHM GROUP has commissioned the unique hydraulic tapping machines for mini SAF (2 MVA) for melting of titanium slags. The equipment represents itself as unique floor-standing combined mud gun and drilling machine with separate stationary power pack. The uniqueness of this machine is in ensuring the opening and closing of the two tapholes of one furnace, which are located at different elevations. This was achieved by the special tilting and moving design developed by our engineers.

The main achievement of the installation is the tapping process automation and improvement the safety of the operating personnel. In this small, but very specific project, our Company again showed deep individual approach, providing only the most Customized solutions in development of equipment for ferro-alloy production.
