DHM GROUP started operating in the German metallurgical market in 2017. Under a contract with Weser-Metall GmbH, two suspended combined tapping machines (drilling and mud gun) for lead remelting furnaces tapholes were developed, delivered and commissioned.
Recently, Weser-Metall, one of the largest lead producers in Europe, became a part of the Glencore Group. It has been renamed Nordenham Metall GmbH and continues to develop as a modern polymetallic plant.
During its transformation process, Nordenham Metall approached DHM GROUP with the challenging requirement – in an extremely short period of 7 months equip the existing furnace’s new taphole with an additional combined tapping machine.
In terms of complexity, this order represents a real professional challenge, and we are grateful to our reputable German Customer for their confidence.
The Nordenham Metall project is an extremely important and honourable assignment for DHM GROUP. We will therefore carry it out responsibly and with devotion and are committed to delivering the equipment by the exact time specified.
