DHM GROUP has signed a contract to design and supply a complete set of the tapping equipment for Comilog plant.

This enterprise is a part of our Partner and Client – Eramet Group.

Eramet Comilog Manganese factory is situated in Moanda, one of the largest towns in the Gabon Republic. Currently, Comilog is the world’s second largest manufacturer of manganese alloys for steelmaking plants in Europe, North America, and China.

The division is the world’s leading manufacturer of manganese-based products for the chemical industry, used in a wide range of products, such as electric batteries, ferrites, fertilizers, food for animals, etc. This is not the first contract for DHM GROUP with famous French mining and metallurgy company Eramet. We have previously collaborated on a project in Norway. DHM GROUP won the tender for the supply of equipment for ERAMET SAUDA and launched it in December 2018.

The equipment was successfully operated during one year with positive feedbacks. In February 2020, the Final Acceptance Certificate was signed, testifying high efficiency of the equipment produced by DHM GROUP.

The project for Eramet Comilog Manganese became a logical continuation of our successful relationship with Eramet Group and started a new geographic direction, becoming our first large project in Africa. This task will be of particular interest since DHM team will have to implement the turn-key project: designing, delivery and construction with the installation works, set-up and commissioning of two sets of taphole drilling and plugging equipment with rodding machines.

We are confident that this project will help to consolidate the position of DHM GROUP as an international expert in tapping technology.
