In 1994 JSC «Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant» has become the first major Customer of the new company DHM GROUP. Our experts offered a unique project of the replacement of electro-mechanical mud gun machine (MG) with a hydraulic one. The new equipment included a compact set of hydraulic MG with its own hydraulic station, located on a suspended rail track.

After the project had been finished, the Customer has received the first, in the former Soviet area, independent hydraulic equipment for closing the tap hole. Today, this machine is still being successfully operated.

This experiment was the beginning of closer cooperation of Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant and DHM GROUP. During 22 years, DHM has developed and delivered about 12 machines for different furnaces of NFP.

In April 2016 we have received a new order from NFP for 2 combined suspended machines. A special feature of this project is design of the machine, installed on an existing suspended railway. Thus the project is developed according to individual requirements and needs of the Customer.
