DHM GROUP will supply 28 machines for two new Blast furnaces of AM/NS India

ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India and Danieli Corus have signed a contract for the construction of two Blast furnaces with a volume of 4500 m3 each for the plant in Hazira, India.

As part of this project, DHM GROUP was selected as a partner to supply cast house hydraulic tapping equipment, including taphole drilling and plugging machines, trough cover manipulators, pneumatic jack dam drills and auxiliary equipment for the uninterrupted operation of Blast furnaces. The total volume of the supply will be 28 machines for two Blast furnaces.

Previously, we supplied modern hydraulic taphole drilling machines to AM/NS for BF-1, which replaced existing low-quality machines and significantly improved the technological processes on the cast house. AM/NS specialists noted the high performance and efficiency of our machines, which served as the basis for choosing our company to implement this new large and prestigious project.

AM/NS India is a joint venture between ArcelorMittal, the world’s leading steel producer, and Nippon Steel, the largest steelmaking corporation in Japan.

The DHM GROUP team is grateful to Danieli Corus and AM/NS India for their trust and the opportunity to implement our advanced metallurgical solutions.
