In 2014 Eurasian Resources Group has announced launching the fourth workshop at the Aktobe Ferroalloys Plant. The new production consists of four new generation DC furnaces with a total capacity of 440 000 tons of high-carbon ferrochrome per year. The plant utilizes a unique, not only for Kazakhstan but also for the whole ferroalloy industry, technology of smelting in DC furnaces. This plant was designed to increase export potential of the country. However, after 3 years from the launching it was observed unsatisfactory operation of certain equipment, in this regard, the management of JSC «TNC Kazchrome» have decided to install additional mud gun machines for guaranteed tapholes closing.
Earlier, in 2016, Kazchrome had already had an experience of cooperation with DHM GROUP. Our team have designed and supplied tapping equipment for the furnace №64 of the Aksu Ferroalloys Plant; a decision on the next manufacturer to implement the new project did not take long.
As a result, on March 16th 2017, management committees of DHM GROUP and JSC «TNC Kazchrome» have signed a contract on the supply of 4 stationary mud gun machines for the workshop №4 of the Aktobe FP.
This is an honor for the team of DHM to once again justify the confidence of market leaders such as Eurasian Resources Group, and to continue developing cooperation with metallurgical enterprises of Kazakhstan.
